Return to The Marlowe Server

Andy peered into the rear view mirror, and saw the reflection of the seaside. The seagulls flying overhead and the sound of kids running along the beach, the teenagers playing volleyball and adults sat on deck chairs. Each person falling into their own category, and each category doing their own task. All of them having fun. In the shop's and kiosk's were summer staff who were bored and tired, who could see the beach but were stuck working. What were those young employees really thinking, what did they do when they finished, why were they working where they were?

Every person that makes up society is unique, and individual, and 3 guys playing volleyball is too vague. So Andy began to think about what lives these people might have, the events and dilemas each one may face, what interests they may have. And how to split up this category into more specific subcategories.

As Andy drove away from the seaside, the sound dropped, and the view faded. What would happen if someone left the seaside?

Explore these answers as we explore the lives of 5 fictional characters in 'The Thinking Behind a Thought'. And then move on into 'The Thinking Behind Starting Uni'.
