Extreme . . . . .

. . . . . Resources

This is the copyrighted, patented method of using resources in strategy games.

Principal: The outward appearance is as follows.

  1. Resources are made from other resources

  2. Resources require resources to be built, even if they are not 'used up' like a tool or catalyst.

  3. Resources can 'do' things. For example Movement is made when fuel ignites.

This means the following major parts of programs are done just using extreme resources technique.

  1. Basic resources and costs

  2. Technology tree

  3. Vehicle definitions, speed, fire power etc

  4. Mining

This is done VERY simple with the aid of one database, this database holds the following information

  1. Resource name

  2. Description - for user only

  3. Amount produced per hour

  4. Required resources

The user can then change the resources assigned to them by simply running it through a simply check and do system.

Click here to download the Windows executable version of Extreme resources. (requires compressed file see below)

Click here to download the compressed Extreme resources file - required for the installer

Click here to access spare repair files

Please note the installer will corrupt both the Lib.exe file, and the Res.exe file, you will need to download these from the 'spare files'

Extreme resources does more than just what the demonstration shows. Eventually using this technique I will have a set of programs that can do tasks depending on what resources are available.
