VMX - 02 is Marlowe's Live Video Mixing Software. This program is layer based. You can perform multiple mixes at a time, layer by layer. This program also features a connection manager to allow you to link similar effects together. This program features a variety of effects, all of which have customisable options. This program has a built in video capture / playback channel that allows you to record short video clips straight off of the video desk, and play them back as an additional channel. This program allows you to save different desk settings in separate profiles. You can choose a profile when starting up. This video mixer has 22 channels. You can install up to 4 video capture devices with this software, allowing you to mix between 4 live feeds. The remaining channels are used for static cards, mattes and 12 independent buffers for mixing. As well as the live video, this program has two preview windows for checking your mixing before going live. We have consulted with video mixing technicians to produce this mind blowing software. We are so proud of this software, we are offering a free evaluation version for you to try. The evaluation version is fully functional, except there is a permanent overlay on the output. There are no other limitations. Included with our download are several test cards for you to mix with if you do not have video capture devices. A demonstration profile with several effects preset ready for you to see for yourself. A help file which is displayed on screen, and also a tutorial for using the video mixer. This program is very demanding on your computers performance. We recommend dual processors running at at least 2GHz each. This program uses at least 50Mb of RAM in its lowest memory model. It is strongly recommended that you have at least 512Mb of RAM. However we have tested this program at a reduced resolution on an 850MHz laptop, with 128MB of RAM. After taking a while to start up, the program managed 30fps while performing a ten layer effect. There are two low memory models included so that this program can still be used on older computers. These models run at reduced resolution, and without the VCR. View our screenshots, and annotated control window to see how much functionality we give the user. The Help Manual and Tutorials are also included with the Full and Evaluation versions. The help is displayed at the very top of the screen so that you can use the help without the need for printing out paper copies. The help file displayed is displayed without formatting, the downloadable help manual contains the same information, and is formatted for easier reading. This program is standalone. No installation necessary. You can just download and run this program without making any alterations to your system. (To use multiple screens, you may need to make alterations to the layout). |
